I recently registered as a Crawl Captain for an event called the Edible Crawl for a Cure: a gourmet food and pub crawl through midtown and downtown Sacramento. This is a fun event where we’ll be eating and drinking our way across the grid that benefits the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. You can find out more information about the event and see pictures from the event last year at midtowngrid.com. Then get your tickets online at Brown Paper Tickets. A few steps into the process of purchasing your tickets there will be several questions asking you to choose your Crawl Captain/team, so make sure to click on “Rebecca Johnson (Get Networking Now)” which is at the third question, answer # 3. As we get a little closer to the event date our team will be assigned a starting location, and I will let you know where that is (but it will be either in midtown or downtown). Let me know if you have any questions, and hope you’ll be able to join me for this very fun event!

I’m putting together a team for an awesome Saturday on October 18th from 12:00-5:00 pm.

$35 each that goes directly to charity(Cystic Fibrosis Foundation) and we get to walk around Midtown Sacramento and try out tastes of food (really good food) and drink at all kinds of cool restaurants that we probably wouldn’t have tried on our own.

I did this last year and it was so much fun! They expect a sold out crowd, so don’t wait to register!!
